Importing Top Producer Listings

On the navigation bar, click Listings. On the Listings Manager page, click Import Listings.

From your Top Producer® account, you can import all of your listings that are active, sold or have a pending sale. You may also choose to import listings within a specific date.

To import Top Producer® listings:

  1. Specify your search criteria.

    2. For example, if you wish to import active listings that were listed between May 10, 2005 and November 30th, 2005, select the Active Listings check box and the Import Listings within the Following Dates. Next to the From field, click to select May 10, 2005. Similarly, click next to the To field to select November 30, 2005.

    Note:  To enter the date in the From and To fields, you must select the Import Listings within the Following Dates check box.

  2. Click OK.

    3. Top Producer® Websites verifies your credentials. If it does not have your credentials, it will prompt you to enter them. This added security measure protects your personal information and ensures that only you can access them.

    Top Producer® Websites displays all the listings that meet your search criteria.

    Note:

    • If you belong to at least one MLS board that has not granted you permission to import your listings into websites, you will encounter an error message along with a list of the MLS boards that prevented the import process. Each MLS governs whether listings can be imported from Top Producer®. We are working with the requested MLS to provide this service. However, if you belong to multiple boards and one of them allows you to import listings, contact Top Producer® Tech Support at 1-800-830-6047 to request that the MLS board preventing listings from being imported to be removed from your account. Otherwise, you can continue to add listings manually or dynamically using REALTOR.com®.

  3. Select the check box next to the listing to import.

    4. Note:

    • If you use Top Producer® to edit these listings during the import process, these edits will not be included with your listings. To import your listings with the new edits, click Cancel, specify your search criteria again and click OK.

    • To return to the search page, click Cancel.

  4. Click Import.

    5. Top Producer® Websites imports the selected listings. If a listing has more than 10 photos, only the first 10 photos will be imported.

    Note:

    • Listing details that were previously imported from Top Producer® will be updated. For a list of imported fields, see "Imported Listing Fields".

    •  You may be prompted to overwrite a listing's images with the ones from Top Producer®. This message appears only when you manually added a photo to a previously imported listing and then choose to import this same listing. Top Producer® Websites gives you the option to either overwrite these manually added images with the ones from Top Producer® or to keep them. If you choose to keep these images, any new image from Top Producer® will not be imported.
